Printed :: Holly + Sarah's wedding invitation suite

This was such as special project for me. When you love two people as much as I care for Holly & Sarah, inspiration flows effortlessly. The couple wanted their wedding invitation suite to evoke the lush botanical scenery of their chosen venue: Scribe Winery in Sonoma, California. I tried to combine the minimal design aesthetic of the couple with the rich flora of the place, and above is the final product: a three-piece invitation suite featuring detailed greenery printed on natural white cotton paper in bold charcoal and delicate peach ink.

Below are some images taken by Holly and Sarah's wedding photographer, Hugh Forte, who perfectly captured all of the thoughtful, gorgeous details of their day at Scribe Winery. I just had to share some because it was the most lovely event I have ever attended. It was difficult to choose but this selection gives you a sense of the beauty that extended to every aspect of their wedding: the delicious wine, the asymmetrical floral arrangements, the incredible food, the curated tables, the idyllic ambiance, and the fading evening light. Oh, and the last one is me and my guy at the reception.
