Meet Taiga Press

Erica D’Alessandro is the creative director behind Taiga Press, a design & letterpress print studio on the north Oregon Coast that specializes in brand development and identity projects, as well as a stationery for the everyday. An anthropologist by training, her designs are inspired by the textiles and patterns she has encountered during her travels around the world: from the quilts of Amish Country to the kilims of Sweden; the block prints of India to the folk embroidery of Russia and Eastern Europe. She is drawn to the idea of translating fabric mediums to paper via the historic art of letterpress, which has its own unique texture and feel.
